Norse Mythology

I don’t just love zombies. I also love mythology. All mythologies. I also am a huge fan of Neil Gaiman.
In Norse Mythology, Neil Gaiman presents his take on the Norse mythological figure by way of short stories. This collection is wonderful. While his tale may be very different from the normal folklore, it’s brilliantly written and entertaining. The words flow in a lulling magical way. My personal favorite of these short stories is Mimir’s Head and Odin’s Eye. This is Gaimans take on how Odin lost his eye in his quest for knowledge as the All Father.
This is a wonderful book to cozy up with on a lazy evening. The stories are enchanting and insightful. I personally wanted to seek out more about Norse Mythology after reading these stories.
